Message of the Chairman, AIMCON 2008
Allama Iqbal Medical College has a long tradition of academic excellence. Our faculty is world renown for their excellence in research and scholarly activities. Our alumni span the globe and regularly visit and contribute to the strengthening the foundation of their alma mater. Our students are the brightest and the best with the zeal and zest to learn that is an inspiration to their colleagues and peers alike. The Allama Iqbal Medical annual conference (AIMCON 2008) is just a minor reflection of the enthusiasm of the faculty, students and alumni towards their common goal of academic excellence.The AIMCON is the one of the several initiatives envisioned by the administration to streamline and formalize the research activities being conducted at Allama Iqbal medical College. I can assure you that this monumental event is just the beginning of a new trend being set at Allama Iqbal Medical College for conducting academic activities on a regular basis. Message of the Organizing Secretary, AIMCON 2008
It gives me great pleasure in welcoming you to the AIMCON, an academic event never conducted at such monumental scale in the history of Allama Iqbal Medical College. AIMCON indeed signifies a great milestone in our endeavor to achieve academic excellence. This event lasting three days from December 21-23, 2008 promises to be blockbuster event filled with didactic state-of-the-art lectures, oral and paper presentations, and satellite symposia. APPNA and AIMCAANA are the main theme players of this meetings. This event will allow direct interaction between experts and experts from around the world attending the event and sharing their experience. Let’s not forget the unique opportunity for students to interact with their alumni members to learn and receive guidance regarding their career plans. So let’s join hands and welcome our guests to the great medical institution called Allama Iqbal medical College Lahore.
